🔬 My Experience

I'm an engineer (B.Sc. & M.Sc. in computer science and engineering) and a scientist (Ph.D. in Photonics) by training.

My main ineterests are:

  • STEM
  • Programming and theory of programming languages
  • Optics and Photonics, with emphasis (but not limited to) Integrated Silicon Photonics
  • Electronics

🏗️ Current Work

I currently work as a System Photonics Engineer for at University Ghent - Belgium, where we are designing programmable photonics chips.

I combine two of my expertises at my work: programming and integrated photonics system design. In my team we are pushing the boundaries of programmable photonics to create a fully flexible optical chip that can be programmed just like an FPGA.
